Right common carotid artery
Sub-branch · From brachiocephalic Bifurcates C3/C4
Arises from the brachiocephalic trunk behind the right sternoclavicular joint, so unlike the left it has no thoracic part. Ascends in the carotid sheath to bifurcate at C3/C4 into the right internal and external carotid arteries, matching the left side from there on.
