Pierces coracobrachialis, runs between biceps and brachialis, and continues as the lateral cutaneous nerve of the forearm.

When it goes wrong
Penetrating injury to the axilla, or over-vigorous shoulder surgery
Weak elbow flexion and supination with an absent biceps reflex, and numbness down the lateral forearm. Some flexion remains through brachioradialis, which is radial.
