Station - Instructions for candidate
You are an intern in the Emergency Department of a Perth teaching hospital.
Dave Kowalski, a 58-year-old forklift driver, has presented with three days of fever and a cough. The triage nurse has recorded his observations and placed him in a monitored cubicle.

Your tasks are to:
- Take a focused history.
- Perform a focused examination.
- Request any relevant investigations and interpret the results provided.
- State your most likely diagnosis and differential diagnoses to the examiner.
- Outline your management plan to the examiner.
- You do NOT need to summarise your findings to the examiner.
- Please verbalise your examination to the examiner; findings will be provided on request.
This is a 15-minute station, with 2 minutes of reading time.
