Station - Instructions for candidate
You are a medical student on placement in a general practice clinic in Perth.
Callum Hobbs is a 13-month-old boy brought by his mother to the GP about a month of a dry, itchy, red rash on his cheeks and in his elbow creases. The rash has been worsening, especially in the mornings and after bathing. Callum scratches constantly and is having difficulty sleeping.

Your tasks are to:
- Take a focused history from Callum's mother, including details of the rash onset, triggers, impact on sleep, and what has been tried.
- State your most likely diagnosis to the examiner.
- Explain the diagnosis to Callum's mother in plain language and agree a management plan including skin care, triggers and when to seek help.
- You are not required to examine the child.
- You do NOT need to summarise your findings to the examiner.
This is a 10-minute station, with 2 minutes of reading time.
