Instructions

You are a medical student on placement on the postnatal ward. Your next patient is Marites Reyes, 31, two days after giving birth, presenting with a headache since yesterday.

  1. Take a full history

  • You do not need to examine the patient or give a diagnosis
  • You do not need to summarise your findings to the examiner
  • The examiner will ask you questions at the end.

ChoiceHub writes these stations itself, from the ground up, across a wide range of clinical topics. They are not official exam material, and no university has written, reviewed or endorsed them. “Recommended for” only suggests the year and exam format a station suits.
