Instructions

You are a medical student on placement in general practice in Byford. Your next patient is Camille Ocampo, 32, presenting with a painful right wrist after a fall at home five days ago; her husband has brought her in and is parking the car.

  1. Take a focused history

  2. Discuss the next steps with the patient

  • You do not need to examine the patient.
  • You do not need to summarise your findings to the examiner.
  • The examiner will ask you questions at the end.

ChoiceHub writes these stations itself, from the ground up, across a wide range of clinical topics. They are not official exam material, and no university has written, reviewed or endorsed them. “Recommended for” only suggests the year and exam format a station suits.
