Instructions

You are a medical student on placement in general practice. Your next patient is Panos Lazaridis, 74, who has come with his wife, Vasiliki, because she is worried his memory has been getting worse over the past two years.

  1. Take a history from Mr Lazaridis and his wife

  2. Outline to the examiner:

    • Your most likely diagnosis
  • You do not need to examine the patient
  • You do not need to summarise your findings to the examiner
  • You do not need to discuss investigations or management

ChoiceHub writes these stations itself, from the ground up, across a wide range of clinical topics. They are not official exam material, and no university has written, reviewed or endorsed them. “Recommended for” only suggests the year and exam format a station suits.
