You are a medical student on placement in general practice. Your next patient is Carmelo Pellegrino, 67, a retired bus driver, presenting with two weeks of muffled hearing and fullness in his left ear.
Perform a full examination
- You do not need to take a history, summarise your findings or examine any other system.
- Describe your examination as you go; findings will be given on request
- The examiner will ask you questions at the end.
