You are a medical student on placement in general practice. Your next patient is Darren Khoo, 36, a software developer whose partner says he snores so loudly that she cannot get a proper night's sleep.

  1. Take a focused history

  2. Outline to the examiner:

    • Your most likely diagnosis and differentials
  • You do not need to examine the patient
  • You do NOT need to summarise your findings to the examiner
  • The examiner will ask you one question at the end
