Instructions

You are a medical student on placement in general practice. Your next patient is Enzo Galati, 27, brought in by his mother Teresa, who is worried about his temper and behaviour for about seven months.

  1. Take a focused history from Enzo and his mother

  2. Outline to the examiner:

    • Your most likely diagnosis and differentials
    • Next steps in management, including relevant investigations
  • You do not need to examine the patient
  • You do not need to summarise your findings to the examiner
  • The examiner will ask you one question at the end.

ChoiceHub writes these stations itself, from the ground up, across a wide range of clinical topics. They are not official exam material, and no university has written, reviewed or endorsed them. “Recommended for” only suggests the year and exam format a station suits.
