Station - Instructions for candidate
You are an intern in the Emergency Department of a Perth teaching hospital.
Lachlan Reid, a 22-year-old engineering student, has come in with chest pain that started suddenly an hour ago while he was studying. The triage nurse has recorded his observations and asked you to see him.

Your tasks are to:
- Take a focused history.
- Perform a focused examination.
- Request any relevant investigations and interpret the results provided.
- State your most likely diagnosis and differential diagnoses to the examiner.
- Outline your management plan to the examiner.
- You do NOT need to summarise your findings to the examiner.
- Please verbalise your examination to the examiner; findings will be provided on request.
This is a 15-minute station, with 2 minutes of reading time.
