Instructions

You are a medical student on placement in general practice. Your next patient is Brodie Pascoe, 19, an engineering student, presenting with three weeks of being thirsty all the time and passing a lot of urine.

  1. Take a focused history

  2. Outline to the examiner:

    • Your most likely diagnosis and differentials
  • You do not need to examine the patient
  • You do not need to summarise your findings
  • The examiner will ask you questions at the end

ChoiceHub writes these stations itself, from the ground up, across a wide range of clinical topics. They are not official exam material, and no university has written, reviewed or endorsed them. “Recommended for” only suggests the year and exam format a station suits.
