- Contributes to the long finger flexors and the intrinsic hand muscles
- Sensory
- Medial forearm and the little finger (C8 dermatome)
When it goes wrong
Cervical disc herniation at C7/T1, or a Pancoast tumour invading the lower trunk
Weak finger flexion and grip, numbness of the little finger.
