When it goes wrong

Klumpke palsy — traction on an abducted arm, a cervical rib, or a Pancoast tumour

Clawing of the hand from loss of the intrinsics, with sensory loss along the medial border. Horner syndrome appears when the T1 sympathetic fibres are caught.
