The continuation of the anterior division of the lower trunk. Gives the medial pectoral nerve, both medial cutaneous nerves, the ulnar nerve and the medial root of the median nerve.

- Medial arm, medial forearm and the medial one and a half digits
When it goes wrong
Klumpke-type traction injury, or infiltration by an apical lung tumour
Clawing with wasting of the hand intrinsics and sensory loss down the medial border of the limb.
