Acute Caremiddle twist
A 54-year-old man presents to a metropolitan hospital with a catheter laboratory after seventy minutes of central chest pain, which is continuing. His blood pressure is 136/82 mmHg and he is not breathless. The electrocardiogram shows 3 mm horizontal ST depression in leads V1 to V4 with tall R waves and upright T waves in those leads, a QRS duration of 88 ms, and no ST elevation in any limb lead. Leads V7 to V9, recorded immediately afterwards, show 1 mm ST elevation. The first troponin result is not yet available. Which one of the following should be arranged now?
