Acute Caremiddle twist
A 7-year-old girl falls from the monkey bars onto an outstretched right hand. She is tender about 2 cm proximal to the wrist with mild swelling, no deformity, full finger movement, normal sensation and normal capillary refill. Radiographs show buckling of the dorsal cortex of the distal radial metaphysis, with no break in the cortex, no angulation and an intact ulna.
