A 7-month-old baby presents to the clinic for a routine pediatric follow-up. His height, weight, and head circumference correspond to the 50th percentile. His mother reports that she has noticed the baby’s right scrotum has always been smaller than the left.On examination, the right hemiscrotum is smaller than the left, with no palpable testis on the right side. The right testis is palpated in the right inguinal canal. The left testis is normal in position and size.
